ANDERSON-BOGERT Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. has the knowledge and expertise to provide the surveying and engineering services necessary to assist with the protection, mitigation, or re-establishment of wetland areas. ANDERSON-BOGERT has designed wetland detention basins in several locations that combine a storm water detention facilities meeting local storm water management ordinances with a “natural area” wetland.

Kirkwood Community College Wetland. This project consisted of the development of a wetland on the Kirkwood Community College campus. ANDERSON-BOGERT designed and provided construction administration on the wetland installation. This wetland is now used by local agencies to provide training on wetlands in the Cedar Rapids area.
Wetlands Boundary Surveys for the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). The projects consisted of locating the boundaries of the WRP (Wetlands Reserve Program) easements and preparing the plats for these sites. The projects varied in cost and size depending on the location and the size of the easement. We worked closely with the NRCS.
Muscatine Municipal Airport Wetland Remediation. This project involved the delineation of the wetland area at the Muscatine Municipal Airport and the remediation of the found wetlands. ANDERSON-BOGERT provided project management, design, and construction administration on this project. The project was completed on time and within the budget approved by the FAA.
